| 7am - wake up, shower, make coffee, get ready for work. 8am - Chloe still sleeping... Finn's nanny arrives, orientation. 8:30am - wake up chloe for school, already half hour late. 8:45am - throw 2 pieces of toast in toaster, Chloe eats it with Marmite (YEA, a true Brit at heart), get Chloe dressed, grab her lunch, my pump, and school bag, walk dog. 9am - run out the door, drive Chloe to school, miss the drive thru drop off so have to park in garage, walk Chloe to her class. DARN*&#*@, I left my purse at home. Run back to car, cruise home, throw car on hazards, run up the stairs, call to nanny it's me so I don't completely freak her out, grab purse and run back down the stairs. 9:30am - fly to work, realize I don't have time to park in the free lot and walk 15 minutes. Park at a meter outside work, determined not to get my 10th ticket, run to bank, get a roll of quarters. Head in to work. 9:45am - work work work, feed meter, work work work, feed meter, work work work, feed meter. 2:00pm - last appointment runs late, email preschool to say I'm running 30 minutes behind, run out the door to pick up Chloe, on way call nanny to let her I'll be late. 2:30pm - head home to relieve nanny 2:30pm- play, groceries 6:30PM - baths, dinners, bedtime stories. 8:00pm - screaming fit 9:00pm - screaming fit stops, mom sits down....ahhhhhh. 9:05pm - DARN, there' s no more tequila 10:00pm - clean up kitchen 10:30pm - bed 12:00am - Finn's awake 2:00am - Finn's awake 6:00am - Finn's awake 6:50am - Chloe's up. 7:00am - pause for my caffeine fix and breath a sigh of relief...it's Wednesday, pizza day, ahhhh, no need to pack a lunch today. Make breakfast, get everyone dressed. 8:15am - pack up car and kiddos, head to school. 8:16am - ....realize it's Thursday, Pizza Day was yesterday.... |

It's time for a Chloe-ism
Chloe: "Momma...when we go to Tahoe will we be in a tent?"
Mom: "No, we'll stay in a house, it's too cold to camp in the winter in Tahoe."
Chloe: "Can Daddy show me how to ski?"
Mom: "yes, Mom and Dad can show you and you can go to ski school with other kids and learn. We can also go dog sledding. Would you like that?"
Chloe: "Oh yes Momma, can Zimmy pull the rope?"
Mom: "I think he might be too small to pull the sled, you need big dogs for dog sledding."
Chloe: "But Momma, I have an idea, he can eat lots of grass and get big, then he can pull it."
...I mean, can she be any funnier?!

World's most mellow, sweet baby
Mom and Finn had some rare one on one time today, while Chloe was at preschool so we decided to do a little photo shoot. Enjoy the pics of this sweet little boy. He continues to be the most well behaved, mellow, sweet baby I've ever met. So easy going, hardly ever cries and when he does, its very short lived. He's full of smiles, loves t eat and loves to sleep. Chloe cracks him up, he's always laughing at her and she's a great big sister to him.
Finnley Turns Four Months Old!
Finn had his 4 month appointment this week. He weighs 14lbs, 25" long and has a 17" head...smart cookie!

The Duck Scam...
Chloe wanted a cute duck and Pop Pop and I spent a fortune trying to get one for her...(not really, 8 bucks) but seriously...?? They tell you you can win a small, medium or large and display the ducks. Little do you know, the "prize" is a turtle or a frog hidden under the stand. Chloe won multiple frogs, but no ducks...;( Lesson learned for all.
Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Beach
We had a rockin time in Santa Cruz on rides and hanging on the beach...I think Mom was more excited about the old school boardwalk and funnel cakes than the kiddos were. Thanks Pop Pop for the yummy funnel cake!
Pop Pop takes Chloe for her first Tatoo...and gets one for himself as well.
...Chloe got a rose on her arm, and thought Pop Pop's tatoo was "scary".

The Many Faces of Chloe Soleil
Chloe's new game these days is...Princess and the Monster. She has huge imaginitive play with her "friend" (usually Amelie and Harper) Princesses running from the monster, magic hearts and diamonds must be found to keep the monster away!
Pop Pop Finds a Friend on Angel Island
Pop Pop finds an interesting fello to chat with on Angel Island...unfortunately for all of us, we applied the sunscreen a little too late, but better late than never!
Pop Pop Allpress comes to visit! August 2010
Lunch on the bay in Tiburon. We enjoyed some sunshine, ceviche, campari, and tequila then hoped on the ferry to Angel Island.

On the drive home from Tahoe, we had a 20 minute hail storm with golf balls flying into our wind sheild and snow on the ground...then back into 90 degree weather...wild.
