Our April Baby Group Birthday Party!

Tia and Ileana threw a wonderful party for all of the April babies in our Nopa Mom's Group. Chloe had a great time!

My second haircut!

I got another little trim! I love getting my haircut. It's so much fun!! Mom loves the little smock and the little chair.

What a windy day!

Chloe at Palace of Fine Arts

Mom, Dad and Chloe went to check out the Annie Lebowitz exhibit last weekend. The show was great but Chloe liked running around outside much better!

Babysitting Baby Gracey!

We were lucky enough to babysit little Gracey over the weekend! Zimmy and Gracey were best of friends and loved playing together.

Thank you Auntie Tia!!

Auntie Tia made this pillow for me, I love it! My favorite thing to do is to run up to it and jump! Dad likes to fold me up in it and swing me around yelling "Here come Taco Chloe!". It cracks me up! Thank you Auntie Tia!

Good Times

Notes from Mom...Chloe turns one!

Chloe turned one years old on April 13th, 2008. We can't believe how quickly a year has gone by and how much Chloe has grown! She looks more like a little girl everyday.  Chloe's most recent development is that she's walking, which officially started on March 18th.  She's been going and going ever since! Seven teeth have popped through to date, with two molars and an eye tooth on their way. Teething has been a bit hard for her, especially those molars. But she's been a brave girl and Mom gives some medicine when needed.  Chloe now weighs a whopping 22lbs and measures in at 30 inches tall (which is on the taller side for her age). She has recently transitioned from formula to milk and is loving it! Having mastered her walking skills, she is now all about the chatter...so much to say. She says "bah" for ball and "doh" for dog. The other day, she said "Zimmy" but hasn't said it again since. She loves practicing her kisses and giving hugs.
Chloe is showing signs of being a very confident little girl. She's super social, loves her animals and people, especially other children. She also loves her books and will sit quietly looking at pictures, turning pages and pointing to animals.  She's also coming along with her baby signing and has mastered "all done" and "more". The only T.V. she's allowed to watch is Teletubbies which she loves.
We have finished our semester of music class and have just started the new semester. Chloe loves the class and music in general. She dances and sways to almost anything (except Dad's alternative noise)!
That's about it for the updates thus far...there's so much more that can be written, but I will end with...Chloe continues to be the most amazing little person we've ever met.

First Birthday's Activities

I turned one years old on Sunday! The day was super fun filled. I started it with playing a little in the morning, then a nap, then off to the Golden Gate Park for some swings and slides, then a ride on the carousal, then home for a nap...then my party, cake and presents!
I had so much fun!! Mom will be posting a recap of the year and all my new developments etc shortly!

Chloe's Party

Thank you to everyone for coming to Chloe's Birthday Party. We had raspberry cocktails, coconut cake and yummy food. Thank you for all my presents, they were all very thoughtful and very generous!

Making Chloe's First Birthday Cake

Mom, Grandma and Grandpa Allpress stayed up all night making sugar flowers and butterflies for Chloe's White Coconut Birthday Cake. Mom said she wanted it to look like a beautiful, colorful garden..and it did! It tasted very yummy too. Thank you Gramps and Gran for all your help and hard work making my party the best ever!

Taking in the view at Mt Tamalpais...beautiful

We drove to Mt Tamalpais with our ice creams to check out the view.  Grandma and Grandpa first came to this area for their 15th wedding anniversary. Welcome back!

Grandma and Grandpa Allpress at Stinson Beach

Chloe loved the beach and the sand right away. She started digging as soon as she hit the sand.
Grandpa bought everyone ice creams for the ride home. Chloe loved her chocolate swirl flavor. Thanks Grandpa!

Dancing to the band

Chloe loves the live music.

Grandma and Grandpa Allpress come to visit!

We had such a wonderful visit with Grams and Gramps! Mom and Chloe kept them very busy. We went to Stinson Beach just over the Golden Gate Bridge for lunch at the seafood cafe where Chloe danced to some live music. Then we hit the beach. It was Chloe's first time...she loved playing in the sand but wasn't too pleased with the cold ocean water on her toes!

My new dress!
