What's new around the neighborhood!

In addition to new restaurants, coffee shops and wine bars popping up in our NOPA hood, we also look forward to the Divisadero Revitalization project being completed in March! Also just got word, Whole Foods is coming in to the Haight after all, YEAY!...and a new Preschool for NOPA is set to open in the Spring!
Divisadero Construction Update
The Divisadero revitalization project continues to move forward. New trees have been planted in the median and additional landscaping will be coming soon. There has also been a number of new sidewalk bike parking installations on Divisadero. The pace of the remaining work depends somewhat on the amount of rain we get, but the entire project should be done by early March. Stay tuned for details on the celebration in future newsletters

Pacific Coast Weekend

Thanks to Jeanine for the great Christmas gift. I love you.

Little Girl Loving the Beach

The biggest sandbox I've ever seen!

Beautiful Pacific

That large bump in the sand is not a rock...it's a huge elephant seal!

Making our way to the beach...

Day Two A Walk to the Dunes

Hunting for Kitty Cats

Sleeping Beauty

Chloe's special bed we made in the lodge. She loved reading stories and falling asleep to the fire place.

Day Two of the weekend getaway

Our lodge at Costanoa. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a suite which had two beautiful decks that opened out onto a lawn and fire pit. Chloe loved running around in the grass and having access to and from the hotel room. She's a natural traveler and LOVES going to hotels.
Dad and Mom made S'mores in the firepit, Chloe wasn't interested in them other than the chocolate bars. I think there's a reason why I craved chocolate bunny rabbits the last month of my pregnancy.

Mama and Chloe

My Beautiful Husband

Loving the Wilderness

Day One - Hiking Thru the Horse Tails

We had an amazing walk thru what we named "horse tails". This was a beautiful path behind the property we stayed at. Chloe had a great time pretending to be "Dora" with her backpack and map. We went "thru the path, over the bridge, across the mountain...to the goeey geyser...". Chloe had a great time playing with the horse tails and running thru the paths. She was "Dora" for the day, Daddy was "Diego" and Mom was "Isa". For those of you who aren't familiar...Dora is an interactive cartoon that Chloe is currently addicted to. We don't mind, it's taught her some Spanish, and best of all, a sense of adventure.

Josh's Christmas Present...A weekend away!

We kicked off 2010 with a family weekend away together to Costanoa. Just one hour south of San Francisco, where we ejoyed some much needed R&R and family quality time. It was a crazy, hectic, and hard working end to 2009. We are looking forward to a new year of amazing times ahead!

LadyBug Shoes
