April 30, 2007 -- Chloé actually slept through the night last night! That's not supposed to happen for another couple of months, so it may be a fluke. Jeanine is convinced that I'm jinxing it by posting this news.

Grandma Allpress

April 21, 2007 -- Grandma Allpress has arrived and started to shower Chloé with attention and gifts. Here Zim is helping Jeanine open one of Chloé' many nice gifts from her grandparents.

Thanks for all your help this week Tamsin. The meals and the assistance are very much appreciated. Chloé will be in NC soon to visit. She wants to learn to fish from Grandpa and how to garden (and build ponds) from Grandma.

Chloé's First Wedding

April 27, 2005-- We were invited to Gene and Heisen's wedding in the Presidio. Don't Jeanine and Chloé look great in their dresses? Chloé liked the wedding up until the point that the music got really loud. That'll have to wait a few years. The wedding was very nice and a lot of fun. Unfortunately, Chloé missed the canoe dance.

April 2007 -- While missing lap space, Zim is getting close to Chloé. He empathizes with her when she's crying during her bath.

April 12-22, 2007 -- Here's me enjoying my (sort of) time off with Chloé. In this picture, you can see that I'm asking her advice for my brief, but she keeps falling asleep. I wonder why?

April 18, 2007 -- Chloé goes to the doctor and gets a great report. She's back up her birthweight, eating well and very well behaved. Here she's wearing some new gear -- the pink clothes are pouring in.

April 15, 2007 -- Aunt Sharon was able to be there when Chloé was born. Sharon was out here in San Francisco for two months with her professional cycling team, competing in races throughout California. She was a huge help in the days leading up April 13, and especially when we went to the hospital. She said Zimmy looked worried while we were gone.

Thanks again Sharon, the five us all appreciate your help.

Chloé Is Home

April 15, 2007 -- Chloé is home. She's sleeping a lot and eating really well. She seems to like it here. She's happy to meet Zim and Pepper. We're still trying to figure whether they're glad to see her...

April 15, 2007 -- After two days in the hospital, it is time for

Chloé to go home. Here, she's in her carseat. She's not opening here eyes to much yet. Still resting from the tiring journey a couple of days ago.

A Steady Stream of Visitors

April 14-15, 2007 -- For the next two days in the hospital, there were a lot of visitors. Chloé was happy to meet everyone.

Jeanine and Chloé Are Doing Great

April 14, 2007 -- Jeanine did great during the delivery. Most people were surprised to hear that she had Chloé the day before as she looked great. Both Mom and Dad were very excited to finally meet Chloé. This picture is in the room we moved to shortly after Chloe was born. The hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, lived up to its reputation as a great hospital to deliver a baby. The staff was very supportive and knowledgeable and the facilities were top-notch. It turned out the two of our friends had babies around the same time. We were all hanging out at the hospital together.

Chloé is born
