Chloe's 7 month update

Chloe Soleil Cliffe had her 7 month birthday on November 13th. We can't believe how quickly time has gone by and how fast our little girl is growing. A few recent developments are...two front teeth, ability to sit up and balance (with a few tumbles here and there), walking with the help of two hands to balance, lots of chitter chatter (in her own language of course), and lately, the begining stages of crawling! She continues to be a very happy baby, lots of giggles and smiles. She's a very social poppet and gets a big kick out of other babies, especially toddlers. She is still very easy going and is happy playing with her toys, going for a walk in her stroller or going to dinner with Mom and Dad. We can tell that Chloe already has a huge love for animals. She gets a big kick out of watching the ducks in the pond, giggles at Zimmy's begging tricks, and is fascinated by Pepper. C gets along really well with her nanny, Colette. We all love her and think she takes excellent care of the babies. Logan (Chloe's share care buddy) is a very sweet baby and has a very similar disposition to Chloe, they are great friends. Right now, Chloe's favorite activity is her bounce bounce baby chair. She also loves looking in the mirror and reaches out to touch the other little baby looking back at her. We recently heard that babies don't know they are looking at their reflection until they are 1.5 years old. Funny to think Chloe might not know it's a reflection of herself...but then again, she is "advanced", so...;)
Thank you to our friends and family for logging onto Chloe's blog and wanting to be a part of her life. She is very lucky to have such amazing people care about her, as are her Mom and Dad!
Ciao for now...Jeanine (aka Mom)

Eyes...

Mom and Dad have been trying to figure out the color of my eyes...the switch back and forth from a grey blue to an olive green. They have a few brown speckles in them. What color do you think they look?

Practicing Crawling

I'm getting really good at this crawling stuff...Mom needs to babyproof sooner than later! My nanny Colette has me practicing every day. We love Colette, she takes great care of Logan and I!

Yoga Gear

Dad bought me this outfit. It's my yoga gear with matching headband. Dad likes to put the headband on my head eighties style...Mom thankfully fixes it before I leave the house. My dolly is from Auntie Christine and Uncle Jerry who live in Florida. I haven't meet them yet, but Mom tells me they are super cool! Thanks for my dolly! ;)

Chloé Starts to Crawl

Dad was lucky enough to catch Chloé' first crawling on video. Unfortuneately, he had the camera tilted the wrong way.

My Aunties

I went on a nice long walk with my Aunties this weekend. I love them, they are super fun and love me a lot. I'm lucky to have such super ladies for Aunties!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...;)

My first two teeth have arrived! They were a little painful coming through but I was a brave girl. Mom and Dad took care of me and helped numb the pain. Mom told me all about the toothfairy...I'm excited to meet her one day when I'm bigger!

Our neighborhood friends

This year our neighborhood closed off some streets and the local cafe hosted a Halloween party. Our hood has a lot of little kids living in it now and really feels like a great little community. THese are our good friends, Jeff, Tia, Carrie, Sarah, Charlie, Blakey, Logan and Chloe!
