We saw Baby Boy Cliffe today. He's officially 27 weeks and 3 days, pre-birh! Just like Chloe, the placenta is in front of the baby which can typically block our view, but we were lucky, Baby Boy Cliffe was in full view. Based on the sonogram measurements, he is in the 81 percentile of height for 27 weeks, which means he is going to be a tall baby! The estimated length at birth is 22 inches (Chloe was 19 inches at birth). He is currently 13.4 inches tall and 2lbs./14 oz which is in line with his current height.
The sonogram technician immediately commented on how long his legs were. He predicted not a heavy baby, but a tall one. The new estimated due date is April 30, 2010 (Vs. May 5th) based on current growth. This is a working number, and of course, not to be relied too heavily on.
I've been saying that I've had a feeling this baby is coming early since he seems to be growing quicker than Chloe did....we will see! Chloe liked seeing her baby brother on the T.V. screen but seemed a little more interested in the bouncy chair in the waiting room. 2.5 more months to go...time flies!
